I am halfway through reviewing the new crop of antivirus software as most companies have released their products and there is one startling fact (okay, maybe not so startling), antivirus software products are all migrating to almost identical products. I mean, they all install focus on install and forget, the big names all protect the average user reasonably well and they all are much better on the installation process (a big problem in the past) when it comes to conflicting software.
The difference now is just price and support. Yea, I am only half way through and each product has its own features, but in general, the products are much higher quality than we have seen in the past. I am not sure if that is really a surprise.
I should have all the reviews done in the antivirus category for StarReviews within 2 weeks or so.
